TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

OPEN

• $100 single elimination + optional $50 side pool
• Field size: 64, 96 or 128 subject to entries
• 11 point matches. 13 point final
• Buybacks subject to availability
• Clocks mandatory

Option to start playing 4pm Friday or 10.30am Saturday. Final will be played on Sunday

All players in Open pay a $20 one off registration fee to help cover tournament expenses

MASTERS

• $200 entry + optional $100 side pool
• Field size: 16 or 32 subject to entries
• 11 point matches. 13 point final
• Buybacks subject to availability
• Clocks are mandatory

Play starts 1:30pm Saturday. Final will be played on Sunday

All players in Masters pay a $20 registration fee

SPEED

• $50 entry + optional $50 side pool
• Field size: 16 or 32 subject to entries
• 7 point matches
• Buybacks subject to availability
• Clocks are mandatory

DOUBLES

SHOWDOWN

• $20 entry
• Field size: 32 or 64 subject to entries
• 7 point matches
• Buybacks subject to availability
• Clocks are NOT mandatory

Play starts 10.30am Sunday and will continue all day

All players in Showdown pay a $5 one off registration fee to help cover tournament expenses

VENUE INFORMATION

Club Paradise

Club Paradise is located in the heart of Surfers Paradise and is a stones throw to the iconic Surfers Paradise beach and everything that makes this one of Australia’s top tourist destinations. It is right in the hustle and bustle of everything with easy access to everything, including hotels, supermarkets, trams, pizza shops, bars, markets, shops, and almost anything your heart desires.

The club has an amazing top floor reserved for us, just above Cavill Avenue, with an open balcony, lift and stair access, bathrooms etc. They have a fabulous menu and cocktail list along with all your favourite bar basics. We are excited to have secured this spacious and versatile venue for this 3 day event.

ACCOMMODATION

Although there is no accommodation at Club Paradise, rest assured you are spoilt for choice within a VERY short stroll.

Here are some of the hotels that are within 100-150 meters:

Mantra Circle on Cavill

Ubers are only ever a few minutes away, the tram stops right near Club Paradise at Cavill Avenue. You are spoilt for choice and variety to suit all budgets including backpackers and accommodation a bit further away.

PARKING

The closest parking is at Bruce Bishop Car Park located directly opposite the venue at 10 Beach Road Surfers Paradise. This is paid parking. There are other parking options.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Entry fees are to be paid at time of registration (cash only). No EFTPOS available.

• Please bring your own board, clock, scoreboard if possible

• Precision dice should be used for all matches if available

• All matches (except Doubles) will be entered into the ANZBGF ratings system

• All matches will be played under the ANZBGF rules and all players are expected to abide by the ANZBGF code of ethics

• Please always check with the registration desk before leaving the venue for any period of time

• Penalty points may apply to players arriving late for a scheduled match
